ADVICE FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS PART 2

Get "automatic"

Many teachers take credits "automatically" for those students who are actively involved in student activities. For example, they participate in all kinds of institutional events, help organize events, regularly visit couples, prepare homework in detail with presentations, reports and abstracts. "Automatic" will freeessaywriter help get rid of unnecessary stress on the eve of the session.

To ask questions

Do not be shy to ask questions to teachers if some points from the lecture are not clear. Teachers love active and interested students, so they often treat them more condescendingly than other students.

Take part in sports competitions

I can’t pass exams for “good” and “excellent” - it makes sense to take up active sports activities at the university. I.e:

  • Take part in intercollegiate competitions.
  • Ride to international championships.
  • Defend your institute at regional competitions.

Successful athletes can count on indulgence from teachers and even financial incentives.

think about the future

Already in the second year, you need to think about what will happen next: will the diploma be useful, will the student want to go to work in the profession he has received. It often happens that students enter institutes on the instructions of their parents, without themselves realizing their true desires. If during the study there are thoughts that the chosen specialty will not be needed in the future, then it is advisable to transfer to another faculty or to another educational institution. Thinking about the future will help students clearly understand what they want from life.

Join the team

Communication with classmates can sometimes be useful. Therefore, you need to keep in touch with them. To join the team, it is best to be yourself, not to try to join a specific "bunch" of like-minded people who are often formed in student groups. It is desirable to communicate with all students on an equal footing, since you can learn something new from each of them.
