There was a time in the cosmos whenlife, hence mind, hence consciousness did not exist, so consciousness did notspring into existence nanoseconds after the Big Bang event. We only have oneexample in the entirety of the vast cosmos of consciousness existing, soconsciousness may well be a fluke. It's hard to extrapolate from a statisticalsample of one.
