Any purchase using a plastic card takes place in two stages - authorization and write-off. Suppose a customer makes a purchase in your online store, which is connected to the Fondy payment platform. Once the customer has filled in the details on the payment page and clicked the "Buy" button, Fondy transmits the details via a secure communication channel to the acquiring bank (i.e. the bank or financial institution that processes credit or debit card payments on behalf of the merchant), which, in turn, redirects the request to the payment system, usually Visa or Mastercard. From the payment system, the request goes to the issuing bank (which issued the customer's card), and the latter checks whether the card is blocked and whether there is enough money in the account. If the 3D Secure additional verification system is activated, the bank redirects the payer to the page for entering a one-time password. |

Hello, choose a flexible solution that can meet the needs of your business as it grows. Otherwise, you will most likely have to look for another payment gateway after some time. To choose a solution for the long term, take a look at the supported payment methods. Support is needed for the world's largest payment systems, such as Mastercard and Visa, as well as a number of local and several global payment methods. Mobile payment methods such as Google Pay or Apple Pay are especially important. The solution should also fit all of your sales channels, be it online, mobile, or even in-person payments.
