Your vehicle may havea rearview camera that can help you see what’d behind the vehicle, and help youmaneuver when you’re backing up or parallel parking. So here’s how it works.Look, when you shift your car into reverse, the rearview camera will display animage of what’s directly behind your vehicle, on your SYNC 3 touch screen, oryour 4.2-inch screen here The fixed guidelines show you the actual path where your caris going in while it’s in reverse, and going in a straight line. Activeguidelines show you the path where you intend your car to go when in reversebased on steering wheel position which can be helpful when you’re backing intoparking space The center guidelines help if you trying to line up yourvehicle with something like a trailer. Apart from guidelines, you’ll also seethe red, yellow, and green line zones on your screen. The object in the redzone is clear to your vehicle, while the object in the green line is farthestaway. You’ll know if an object is getting closer to your vehicle, if it movesfrom green to yellow, then finally to red which will also give an audible chimeto alert you If equipped, then you may also have an enhanced park sidethat appears in the upper right corner of the display screen. The system willprovide an image of your vehicle, and sensor zones highlighted in green, yellow, and red when it detects an object in the coverage area. Then, there’s also a manual zoom feature that only getsactive when the transmission is in reverse that lets you get a closure view ofan object behind your vehicle. (if you don’t have SYNC 3 touch screen in Ford, then get it from any reputable car rear camera manufacturer or supplier – in this system, just press theplus symbol on the camera screen
As a side note, the zoomed image keeps the bumper in view. Thisis how the car rear camera works. for more guidance consult a car rearview camera supplier whoinstalls plenty of such devices in many contemporary automobiles |
