Is Microsoft 365 free? 

Anyone can get a one-month free trial of microsoft365.com/setup. However, it does require you to enter a credit card number, and if you don't cancel before the month is up, you'll be charged $100 for a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Family (formerly called Office 365 Home). It's a free app that will be preinstalled with Windows 10, and you don't need an Office 365 subscription to use it. The existing My Office app has many of these features, but the new Office app puts the focus on the free online versions of Office if you're not an Office 365 subscriber. Office 365 is a cloud-based suite of productivity apps like Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and more. Anyone can download the Office app for free and start using it right away. Access and save documents to the cloud by connecting with a Microsoft Account (for OneDrive or SharePoint) or by connecting to a third-party cloud storage provider.
