I have a legal description for a square piece of property i inherited. It states " from the south east 1/4, go East 315 ft, go North 315 ft, go West 315 ft, go south 315ft back to Point Of Beginning ( south east 1/4) " I know where the south east 1/4 pin is, there is no recent survey of this piece of land, but surveyors came thru and put the SE 1/4 marker in the middle of the road right on the center line. My question is can i use the compass and tape and find my property corners (even if there aren't any markers) by using the one SE 1/4 marker in the road ??
