The Klondike game win percentage, which was about 50%, just dropped to a normal win rate, showing a random deal instead of the oroginal win-favoring deal.  So, as far as I can tell, the above intrepid coder may have been informed about the bug, but instead of fixing the display, he re-installed my Klondike with a different dealing algorithm. Are you using petulant teenage coders, MS?  The change could be seen as a ticked-off teenage effort to assure that I am 'punished' for pointing out an error, and the error is not fixed.  Well, there ya go - that'll show me!  In my career as an IT manager, I found it necessary to terminate a few coders who pulled stunts like this. So, MS, if you insist on pushing Win10 toward a subscription model so that you can eventually charge users monthly for the operating system, and you further insist on using less-than-mature coders to accomplish this goal, perhaps it will be best if you cease to update my computer and simply contact me when you get the coding fixed.  Your Solitaire application already tells me that I can send you money to stop the irritating advertisements, but I'm simply turning off my wifi/internet to accomplish the same thing, and I don't need to send you money so that you'll stop irritating me with advertisements. Keep that stuff up, and Apple's operating system will get extremely attractive to many people, including me.

why do I have to go through  levels in my Klondike solitaire game now???? I hate this.... I don't want to go through level after level after level. and the amount of games per level increases with each level. what's up with this. I subscribe for this game which means I own it. and i'm on the easy setting because I want to keep a 100% win average. I mean i'm not going to win millions of dollors or get a new car so put my game back to just playing regular games and no levels. I hope 'm on the right area to express this issue, and if I am, someone reads it within the next year or two.

If you're like me you may be a little pissed to find Windows 10 screwed the game pooch; no way I'm paying them even more for their products. Pretty Good Solitaire is great to have if you are tired of playing the; "buy more apps online" BS. You can also load this onto other systems and enjoy on more than one computer.

I've purchased thousand of items from Amazon over the past few years. I can say without a doubt, this is the worst piece of junk I'ver ever received. I should have heeded the negative reviews. I wanted a solitaire game for my elderly parents on their new computer. This arrived. No directions with it. I installed and, as other reviewers have reported, at the end of the install process the game launches and tells you you need to pay $25 more to upgrade to the full version. It says this is a trial version. I was quite upset. I tried the trial game, just to see how it was and the graphics are so pixelated, it looks like a software program out of the early 80s on a dos computer. Cards are small and I would have been laughing if I wasn't so upset for being blatantly ripped off. I can't believe they are selling this thing for almost $30 bucks. It is worse than something you'd get from an old yard sale. I called their help support number and it rings forever without even an answering machine. I almost just threw it in the trash and chalked it up to bad luck, rather than waste my time trying to send it back. Then I looked and Amazon again and saw that I paid $20 something bucks for it. I am returning it tomorrow. Unless you like to get ripped off, stay clear of this junk. It's bad enough that it installs as a trial, but the fact that the software itself is so bad makes me steaming mad. Junk!!

I have played Eric's Ultimate Solitaire by Delta Tao Software for years and enjoyed it immensely. It no longer works on Windows 8.1, so I decided to try Pretty Good Solitaire, Amazing! 840 varieties at all kinds of skill levels. Definitely worth the money! Also glad it comes on a CD/ROM rather than just a download so I'll be able to find it when I update my computers.

If you like quiet mind relaxing time by yourself. This is it. A little pricey but in the end when you consider how many hundreds of solitaire games are on the disc, it's worth it. Functions very well. The only improvement I would consider worthy to it would be that the game would inform you automatically when there are no more moves possible. By the way, the shipping, handling and packaging were excellent.

This is a nice paced game using shortcuts included in the app. Nice to set records and try to beat your best time. Very user friendly and choice of font size helps those of us getting up in years and needing reading glasses for everything but billboards. Would highly recommend it to all solitaire enthusiasts who enjoy challenging themselves.
